As you can understand from the title, this page is intended for finding answers to commonly asked questions.
Is playing on Bordspel.nl for free?
Yes it is. However, in the future we will introduce a payed membership with more options then the free membership.
What can be done is somebody does not make a move?
There is maximum limit per move now of 15 minutes. After that you can claim the loss of your opponent.
What rating system is used?
We use the ELO rating system.
Is there a setting to ignore invites?
If you set your status to 'busy' in the lobby, you cannot be invited anymore by other players.
Pop-up window on move does not work, how come?
Unfortunately this does not work in Opera. For it to work in Firefox you need to change your settings. Go to Tools -> Options -> Content. Click on the "Advanced" button next to "Enable Javascript" and allow "Raise or lower windows".
Why can't I play against someone on the same address??
To prevent false play (playing against yourself), it is not possible to play against someone on the same IP address.
